A few months back I had a chance to work with the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabar. I painted his portrait and we unveiled it at the Staples center. A percentage of the proceeds made from the paintings and reproductions will be donated to the Lakers Charity. I’m also providing a few original paintings and an on camera interview for his historical documentary on the Harlem Ren’s: ”On The Shoulders of Giants.” The Documentary will be narrated by Bob Costas and Samuel L. Jackson. I’ll be doing an on camera interview in July with Bob Costas so keep an eye out for a vlog posting at the end of July. These photos below were taken from the Unveiling Event we had at the Staples Center.

Kareem gave a little speech before he unveiled the painting. He is a very smart eloquent man.

The unveiling…

“On The Shoulders of Giants” (water marked).

@ The signing table… working it. There were these god awful colonial paintings slapped around the VIP room, as you can see behind my head. They refused to let us take them down.

“Hey Look! Dustin Hoffman!”
