Check out this Slum Village video “Tainted” that BUA created the artwork for. BUA worked very closely with director Chris Robinson to get the ”BUA look” (as he called it) of the video to look just right.
BUA created this opening title sequence for MTV’s the “Lyricist Lounge Show.” The style he used for the animation was based on his painting style. To recreate his flavor, BUA brought on some of the most talented artists he knew of to work with him. Ruben Hickman painted the beautiful backgrounds. He is one of the best painters alive, and BUA’s best friend. Todd Uyeminami was the man behind the animation. Todd is an amazing animator and sculptor. Robert Lowden also contributed art to the project. Ryan Yoshimoto brought it all together. Ryan is one hard-working MOFO!! He figured out how to make this title sequence and Urbania work.
